I particularly appreciated the terrace, which provided sweeping views of the mountains and sea—a visual feast that made me forget about city life back in Auckland. Inside, the spacious room was equipped with cookware, kitchen utensils, and an electric kettle, allowing me to whip up simple meals and enjoy them on my private balcony. Richard, the host, is welcoming and informative, which only enhances the experience. Free Wi-Fi is a bonus for anyone looking to share their travels, while the option for car hire makes exploring the surrounding areas convenient. While Marika leans towards luxury, the attention to detail and the serene atmosphere provide ample justification for the price—making it a wise choice for travelers who want to indulge without compromising on value.
